Research interests
- Laser based neutron sources, generation of high flux neutron beams.
- Laser wakefield acceleration of electrons, alternative injection schemes, plasma wave dynamics, optimising of electron bunch properties.
- Sources of secondary light from terahertz to X-ray scale, betatron radiation, Thomson backscattering, K-α radiation, all-optical free electron laser, subfemtosecond X-ray pulses.
- Ion acceleration from laser-solid interaction.
