Abstract
220 dedicated SPI discharges had been performed in the 2022 ASDEX Upgrade (AUG) campaign. A major upgrade to the radiation measurements of AUG - covering 5 sectors with matching LOSs - allows detailed investigations on the radiation characteristics of SPI disruption mitigation. In this contribution, I will give an overview on the experiments performed and discuss the latest results of the ongoing radiation analysis. We observed decreasing toroidal asymmetries with increasing Neon concentration and a connection between radiation patterns and the disruption evolution, namely the CQ shapes. The radiated energy fraction is strongly depending on the Neon content of the pellet and parallel (penetration) velocity, while the shattering parameters seem to play only a minor role.
