Abstract
Electron runaway is a fundamentally momentum-space phenomenon. Still, the true complexity of the momentum-space dynamics is often masked by our usual approach of decoupling the different effects and treating them separately with simplified models. The talk aims to expose some cases in which the combination of reduced models fails to capture the complex momentum-space dynamics.
