The NOn-linear Relativistic Solver for Electrons NORSE solves the spatially homogeneous drift-kinetic equation with a non-linear Fokker-Planck operator. NORSE includes effects such as synchrotron emission and a self-consistent electric field evolution, and is being actively developed.

Written in object-oriented Matlab, NORSE provides a user-friendly interface and is compatible with many platforms. The source code is distributed under the NORSE software license agreement and can be obtained through GitHub.
